Vision

The vision of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports is to create and develop the highest quality and ethical human resources to develop a knowledge-based society in Cambodia.

Mission

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport has a mission to manage and develop the education sector, youth and sport to meet the needs of development, economic, social and cultural aspects of Cambodia including the competencies and responsibilities of the Ministry, human resource development and quality of human resources through national policies and plans and the development of laws and regulations in the relevant fields. To fulfill this task, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport is organized into general departments according to various departments and institutions of higher education, as well as the Department of Education, Youth and Sports by capital and province.

Goal

To achieve this goal, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports has the mission of leading, managing and developing the education, youth and sports sector in Cambodia in response to the economic, social and cultural development needs of its people and the specific needs of the region and globalization.

Policy Objectives

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports has identified two education policies and key priorities as follows:
Policy 1 : Ensure quality education, equity, environment and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, youth development and sports promotion.
Policy 2 : Strengthen institutional capacity to ensure the effectiveness of leadership and education management at all levels.
